My Concept Blog - about Taxis

Enough is enough.

I have recently started a new blog called sollychangeshift.blogspot.com - objective is to snap pictures of taxis rejecting customers who want to go to a certain destination. Dun you find it super irritating??

I've just managed to grab a picture just last week - license plate in full view!

I have spent enough money on the cab industry in recent years to justify better service!

Did you read the article today about booking cabs in Singapore? Someone asked if there was indeed a phenomenon whereby cabs will 'hide' at a secluded spot nearby the city (esp Marina South) for a booking to come in between 11:30 - 12 am? The taxi company said this is unconfirmed and unproven. My ASS!!

If we all start to contribute and once we have a whole list of guilty cab drivers, I am sure the authorities will do something about it.

Bear at Orchard Road!

This is seriously hilarious!

Taken from http://bobafett81.livejournal.com: "Jodi Ruckley, 33, a volunteer with PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), drressed as a bear, protesting the use of the palace's Houseguards bearskin hats, struggles with a policeman as she is placed into a police van at the gate of the Istana or Presidential Palace where Britain's Queen Elizabeth II was expected to arrive on Friday March 17, 2006 in Singapore."

Bet the mainstream media is not going to pick up on this.

Check out bobagett81's blog here! There are even funnier pictures - like the one where the 2 policemen seemed listening intently to the bear. Haaaa!

lmac x LEVIs 515

Check out one of this site http://www.lmac.tv/505.htm

It's a nice collaboration between lmac and Levi's.

lmac's a local based design agency, they do toys, they bring in expensive t shirts, they design stuff for clients, they make music, and they come out with cool retail identities and brandnames like "Retail Yakuza" - all rounded cool shit la!

Anyway I worked with them before 2 years back on the idN conference party - cool pair. They have always took the effort to invite me to their shop's opening but I always didn't manage to find the time to. *slaps myself* Sorry!

Big up to Amanda & le messie!

Ultra Carry On @ Miami

The annual Miami Winter Music Conference is back - we'll probably expect new releases to be previewed at this event. It kinda leads up to the summer tunes for Ibiza & Europe. It's the place where the dance industry agents, DJs & club owners meet and talk business in a beach/ swimming pool setting. Really cool stuff

The organizers also take the opportunity to hand out awards to deserving artists in the Ultra Music Dance Awards e.g. Best US DJ blah blah ...

Wish I could be there - check out the after party line-up!
