Kena Tomorrow-ed!

One of my year long dreams fulfilled earlier this week.

I got tomorrow-ed for my Zouk post! Yey!

Just in case you've been under the cave for the last half year or so (or has it been longer?), tomorrow.sg is like the mother of all Singapore blogs. it basically highlights 3 - 4 outstanding Singapore-based (or Singaporeans who live overseas) blog entries once every day or 2. Everything under the sun really.

Saigon Bound . . . !

Will be off to Ho Chih Minh, Vietnam from 6 - 9th May
One of my life long dreams is going to be fulfilled - I hope it won't be disappointing!



Well besides the green fields, I would like to see the city and hopefully some nightlife.

Will also be staying beside the Saigon River - a quaint stay called the Riverside Saigon Hotel *duh* - AND it looks really colonial/ french. Quite Fullerton type ain't it?



I think I will get to see more of these instead ...



Anyway, whilst I am there, these are the places I want to visit -

Reunification Palace
War Remnants Museum
Cu Chi Tunnels

Zouk SG - No 11th Club in the World!

Some of the world's best DJs (600 in total actually) have voted their Top 3 clubs in the world, and interestingly here are the results!

Zouk fell out of the Top 10 position, but still holds fort at No 11 in the global chart - a highly respectable position. Wonder if MoS Singapore will make it to this top 50 list next year? Incidentally, MoS in London is ranked only 26.

Was looking again at the Top 10 list and realized I have been to 4 of them!

1. Fabric in London
3. Turnmills in London
4. Pacha in Ibiza
5. Space in Ibiza

*Smacks head*

Other than the clubs in Ibiza which are very colourful, the clubs in London are really not that SUPER, not entirely sure why so many London clubs ended up in the Top 10. Perhaps many of those who are interviewed are based in London?

Sad to say, the only other super club in Asia that's ranked, outside of Japan, is in New Delhi, India called Elevate.

Before the official launch, I have a couple of mixes that I wanted to feature - 1st up, Barry Gilbey, one of my personal favourite DJs and producers from Choo Choo Records. Barry's seems to have a lower profile as compared to many other artists out there, but he's up there with the best. He's a party animal and and definitely a party DJ. I hope to bring him back to this part of the world soon.



Anyway, I am still designing the logos and all that for the Podcase series + planning a launch party (gasp!) but meanwhile enjoy this mix by Barry.

Tiesto's coming to Singapore next Friday and MoS is selling advance tickets from today. There's an interesting meter at the mini site - it already says the tickets are half gone!

Aggghhh, just realized I LOST my mobile, for like the 2nd time in 15 months. Reallly sucks.

It's kind of like a company phone, so it double sucks, looks like I have to get another one to replace from the internet ...

BUT good thing I have backed up most of my contacts, so YOUR contact probably isn't lost, I think ...
